How to Order Your Personalised Name Badge

Create a personalised name badge that suits your role and personality with Norelle. Our custom name badges are made to order in Queensland for nurses, midwives, teachers, educators, healthcare workers and other professionals across Australia.

Follow these steps to choose your design and personalise your badge.

1. Choose Your Badge Design

Browse our personalised name badge collection and select your favourite design. You’ll find colourful illustrations, floral patterns, animals, food designs and more, including our 3D icon range.

Check the product listing for the available shape and customisation options.

  • Rectangular name badges: 70 × 28 mm

  • Round name badges: 58 mm

2. Enter Your Name and Occupation

Type your name and occupation exactly as you would like them printed, including spelling and capital letters.

For example:

  • AMY – REGISTERED NURSE

  • Amy – Registered Nurse

  • AMY – Registered Nurse

  • Amy – REGISTERED NURSE

Check both fields carefully before ordering. Longer names may require smaller lettering, and longer occupations may be arranged across two lines to fit the badge.

3. Select Your Fonts

Choose from our nine font options using the examples in our font guide. You can select the same font for your name and occupation or choose a different font for each.

Cursive fonts generally look best in standard lettering rather than all capitals. Font Four and Font Five are available in capitals only.

All lettering is white by default. The colours shown in our font examples are for illustration—you select your badge colour separately.

4. Choose Your Background Colour

Explore our background colour chart and choose your favourite shade from the options available on your selected product.

Consider how the colour will work with your design, uniform and white lettering. Colours may vary slightly between your screen and the finished printed badge.

Some designs offer additional finishes or options. Where available, these will be shown in the product listing. Holographic, glitter and star effect overlays are available on selected round badges.

5. Select Pin or Magnetic Backing

Pin backing is included as standard, with a magnetic backing option available on each listing.

  • Pin backing: Fastens through your clothing.

  • Magnetic backing: Holds the badge through your clothing without making pin holes.

View our backing guide for examples and safety information, and check your workplace’s requirements before choosing. Backing styles may vary slightly depending on stock availability; we aim to use the styles pictured wherever possible.

6. Review Your Details and Checkout

Before adding your badge to your cart, check:

  • Your chosen design and shape

  • Name and occupation spelling

  • Capital letters

  • Name and occupation fonts

  • Background colour

  • Backing and any optional finish

At checkout, confirm your delivery address and select your preferred shipping option.

Made to Order in Queensland

Most orders are made and dispatched within 1 business day from our Queensland studio. Dispatch is when your order leaves us; delivery time is additional and depends on your location and shipping service.
